he is the poster child for a great "Big" brother. Robert is such a cool kid. He loves his little brother, Ryan, and his baby sister, Kelsey. I love observing him when he is sharing, making them laugh, or just showing them some affection. Don't get me wrong, there are those moments, when they fight, but those aren't too many.
Even at a very early age, Robert has always had an abundant amount of energy and is so happy to help. He is so curious (used to call him Curious George) about things and loves to explore. He has so many interests, including fishing, collecting rocks, riding his bike, squirt guns, art projects, shooting his bow, and many more.
This year the transition to first grade was a bit challenging academically. All the writing, reading, and math concepts. I can say though, he has worked hard and is making great progress. As far as his spelling goes, he is great. Getting almost all 100 percents on those. Through this year of developments, Robert has always put his best foot foward and is such a hard worker.
What I am most proud of are the comments I receive from his first grade teacher and his speech teacher. Here is a little of what Mrs. Spady wrote in his report card..."Robert's wonderful gift is his personality. He is very sweet and sensitive to others. He has a wonderful sense of humor and is a joy to have in the classroom."
Ok, done boasting. Can't help it. Just love, love, love that strawberry blonde haired, blue eyed, freckled face kid of mine!
