Imp Lake...

We had a great time camping at Ann's cabin on Imp Lake. It is so beautiful and peaceful there. She has the cutest cabin and wonderful gardens. You could hear the loons during the day, night and early morning. I wished I had a telephoto lens and a kayak to try and get a photo...really it's best not to get too close anyway.
It was awesome to "rough it" with the kids and dogs. Not sure who had more fun! It was even better to see and visit with Ann. She's working as a nurse in Crystal Falls this summer and staying at her camp, so we don't communicate (like every day!) like we used to because she's working 12 hour shifts and gets no cell coverage at her camp. She'll be back in Wisconsin the end of August, so things will be back to normal.
Summer Camping Fun at Ann's Camp:
-fishing (both boys in P.J.'s Sunday morning right off shore!)
-camp fire.
-row boat rides (snorkeling for treasures/fishing.)
-gathering & sawing firewood (mostly Robert doing the sawing.)
-S'mores.
-antique shop browsing in Crystal Falls.
-Bond Falls (ice cream cone afterwards).
-feeding the ducks.
-relaxing.
-hiking in the woods.
-picking wild raspberries.
-fishing.
-watching Molly & Mason swim and run around like crazy!
-Pure outdoor fun & adventure. Posted by Picasa
