yes, I do have two boys. They are my joys. Lately, seems I have mostly pictures of Kelsey posted on my blog, so I thought I'd try and give a little equal time to her big brothers. Of course now that they are both in school all day and Kelsey is home with me, it only makes sense that I have more photos of her. Anyway, my boys...well... they are curious, adventurous (sometimes), silly, spirited, funny, smart, and good friends. They help each other and support each other in ways that a Mom or Dad can't always do. I love that they are close and have each other. My hope, of course, is that they always stick together and be the best they can be for each other.
Some days they eat hot lunch at school and some days I make their lunch to take(depends on the menu). Either in their lunch bags or in their school folders I write a little note of love and/or encouragement. They don't tell me so, but I think they like it. This morning part of our conversation was about music class. Neither one seem too excited about it. I guess because the Holiday program is coming up at school, they have been going to music two to three times a week. Although, Ryan said he tried out for a solo but didn't get it. I WISH I WOULD OF BEEN A FLY ON THE WALL TO SEE THAT TRY-OUT!!! They said they aren't supposed to reveal to me what songs they are going to sing at the program, however, it slipped that they will be singing Rudolph and O'Christmas Tree. I told them that when I was in 5th & 6th grade, our class sang O'Taunenbaum -- O'Christmas Tree in German. Ryan wants me to practice and sing it to his class. He told me that...and I think he was serious. I won't be doing that.
Kelsey is still sleeping (it's 9:00 a.m.) and I am going to take this opportunity to fold and put away some laundry.

Are you coming for Christmas? Not only do we want to see you, but I thought, perhaps, you could sing for the family. Start a new tradition! :)
From Laurie
I agree with Laurie - a new tradition! Maybe she and I could join you - you know a fun holiday trio!!
