Saturday...

we had a busy day. We enjoyed some time at the YMCA for Healthy Kids Day and then Michelle came over to babysit for a few hours while I went out to the mall to seek something to wear for Robert's first communion/confirmation for next weekend. Needless to say, I didn't find anything. I ended up buying Kels a new pair of sandals and Robert a new pair of shorts and a shirt. Poor Ryan...he doesn't seem to mind hand-me downs. I do, however, need to buy both boys new shoes for summer. I'll tackle that at a future date. The kids played outside and also did a little artwork inside. It was sunny late in the afternoon, so we went down to the park/beach area and played. We then went out for pizza at Aubrees. The kids had built up quite an appetite.

I am tired. Tomorrow we have church, whole church classes, I have a meeting after that, then I am hoping to spend time doing some much needed spring cleaning. Thrilling, I know. What can I say. I took my camera with me to the park/beach and at least I can look at those smiles (and little piggies) and know...it's all totally worth it.

it is GRATITUDE that
makes us joyful.
