Enjoyed a couple days at Imp Lake. One and half more days of vacation...I'm exhausted. I'll be ready for school to start on Tuesday. Ann has a water trampoline and the kids had lots of fun on it. Kelsey didn't like being too far from shore (there was an anchor for it) and she would holler/cry if the boys tried to get it out from shore too far. Of course, I was happy that it stayed close to shore. Robert got lots of fishing in -- large mouth bass and blue gills. Ryan did some fishing also, but I think he enjoyed hanging out by the camp fire and swinging on the swing even more. Kelsey was just all over the place--she loved to run up and down the hill by the lake and go exploring with the boys and the dogs. Wearing one purple croc and one purple play dress-up shoe most of the time. The dogs were smiling {yes, we swear they are smiling!} and wagging their tails the whole time...well, that is, when they weren't sprawled out sleeping from the pure exhaustion from swimming and running (and playing with their doggy friend, Maggie.) Tim made his famous slow-cooked barbecue chicken over the fire--Yumm. We enjoyed watching and hearing the loons on the lake and seeing the bald eagle who lives nearby.
Peaceful. Nice. Fun.
Thanks, Ann, for sharing your camp with us.
