Today...

had to drop Ryan's reading log at school that he forgot this morning. I took my camera in case I saw anything interesting to take a picture (I do a lot for the yearbook). Anyway, it was very quiet in school at this time, and the only thing in full motion that I saw was Kelsey. Running ahead of me like she knows right where she's going ...and she usually does.

Finally-----------she sat down so I could take a picture. That smirky little grin. Like most three-year olds, she has a hard time sitting real still...especially for a picture. But, sometimes I get her to (usually with a bribe!) ...and get a shot that's not blurry. This was the only one that she let me take before running off again. And, I have to say, this is Kelsey through and through. This captures a smirky little grin that I see day in and day out. Kind of like she might be up to something. The wheels in her head are going round and round. Wish I could know for sure what she's thinking. I hope she's thinking up big bright, colorful dreams.

Home now and the plumbing guys are here again. I have a few errands to take care of when they are finished. Truly, I just want to take a nap. My chances of that are zero to none. I'll just try to get to bed early tonight.

Excited about The Office and Greys Anatomy premieres this week. I'd like to watch Dancing with the Stars tonight, too, but probably won't get into it because it's at 8 p.m. and I'm usually doing the whole bedtime thing with the kids (reading Harry Potter -- The Sorecers Stone) and I don't get settled onto the couch until 9:00 p.m. or after. I know...I need Tivo.
