Today we began our first geocaching adventure. Geocaching (if you haven't heard) is like a treasure hunt game where you use a GPS to hide and seek containers with other participants from all over the world. Found our first one here close to home. We are looking forward to some fun exploring this summer.
Planted the rest of my pots for the front porch. Can't wait for a few weeks to go by and the containers will be spilling over/bursting with color!
This afternoon, I was on the couch reading a magazine and Robert ran in and said I had to get up and see what he made. This is what I saw. He made a Strawberry Jam Sandwich.
Crazy, full weekend. I'm looking forward to Tim grilling some marinated venison steaks for dinner tonight.
Only one and 1/2 days of school left for the boys. I'm not ready. I'm trying to mentally prepare myself and get some plans down. I'll haul out the charts from last year (maybe revamp a little) and I'm putting together some new rules and some new chores. After all, the kiddo's are getting older now...a little more responsibility will be good. I'll make sure there is also lots of lazy, hanging out, playing & fun times, too!
