Today

Kelsey has been having so much fun at school. Today when I picked her up she wanted to continue on playing outside with a friend. They played outside on the slide, monkey bars & swings for another 45 minutes. When we got home she ate her favorite lunch... peanut butter & jelly sandwich. She had hot cocoa to drink. Of course she saw that a toy flyer came in the mail and she instantly reached for a pen to circle lots of cool things.

I worked on homework for my class, shot some photo's of Star outside, did four loads of laundry, watched some tv with Kelsey (Sid the Science Kid on PBS--awesome show!) I record these shows and then when Kels feels like watching them, I'll turn them on for her. Today, I sat down with her and I had more fun learning some science and singing songs. It was nice not to be rushed. After, she spent some time on the computer. She's learning her letters and numbers. Later she made some handwritten cards with stickers, stamps and her own drawings.

I made dinner and then the boys came home. We headed for the YMCA after organizing Robert's homework (that's a whole other story) and I actually got a full 60 minutes of a cardio workout. It felt good. I've been not so good at all in my workouts because of my cold. Today, I finally feel better and rested. Tonight it was violin practice, bath for Kelsey, reading, interesting conversations, hugs/kisses good night. I just finished folding four baskets of clothes. It was a good day.
