Moments...

they really are what life is made up of...especially when you are having good old fashioned summer Fun!

Today (Tue. 6/20, it's late, and I believe this will post on the 21st) after the boys had their "rock hounding" class, we had a little lunch and invited Mia to come to the beach with us one last time this summer. You see, Mia and her family (Knox) are moving to Illinois tomorrow. The BIG moving truck was there today packing stuff up and the actual loading and move will be on Wednesday. Sad for us, because the Knox family have been wonderful neighbors and friends and we will miss them very much. Mia, especially, has a close place in all of our hearts. The boys absolutely adore her. It was only a couple of years ago and they used to argue over who was going to marry her. Mia came over yesterday and we finished a scrapbook that I made for her three years ago. We've been adding to it each year and now she has a BIG album to take with her to her new home. Plus, I got some really cute photos today of her, so I'll be mailing those. We ended our afternoon at the beach with a trip to Frosty Treats for ice cream. So sweet and so fun! Tomorrow when I see that moving truck pull away...I'll have a HUGE lump in my throat.
