the boys played pool this morning in the game room at the YMCA and Kelsey went pee in the potty two times in tot watch. Now, whether or not she really went, I'm not sure, but she seems a bit more interested in the whole "potty" thing lately. This morning I put a pull-up on her and we'll see how it goes. We are going to have hammy sammy sandwiches for lunch and wait for Ann to come for a visit. Soccer tonight and hopefully we will get to go on an adventure while Ann is here.
Had a good visit with Mom/Grandma yesterday at the nursing home. She looked good and had kisses for Kelsey. Smiles for us all. We looked at her photo books and sang her some songs..."You are my Sunshine," "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star," "I've Been Working on the Railroad." We left after a couple of hours, she was getting tired and we requested that she be moved back into bed. Kelsey was running that low-grade fever again, and was wanting me to hold her. I stopped by a drugstore and got her some childrens tylenol and she sat on my lap as we ate lunch at McDonalds. She seems to be fine today.
Gotta go and get those sandwiches made. Or...they'll keep asking for popsicles.
