Endless Summer...

well, I think the kids would like that (me, too, at times) and we are trying to squeeze in as much beach time and outdoor fun as we can before school begins. Today it is rainy and cool, so no lemonade stand (that is one thing I promised we'd do this summer that we haven't gotten to) and no beach. We've been lazy and hanging out in the house. The kids are watching Shrek 2 right now. It's a favorite. The boys say they remember when I took them to see it at the movie theatre -- Kelsey was only about 4 or 5 weeks old and we took her too. We were the only ones in the movie theatre (matinee) and the workers helped me bring in the booster seats for the boys and their popcorn/pop. Kelsey just lay in her front pack all snuggly and slept. Maybe waking up enough to nurse or peek out a little. It was so great! The boys don't go to the movie very much, but that is a real memory they have. Not to mention we love the Shrek movies and have them both on dvd.

Well, I have to get out of my p.j.'s and gather up the kiddo's and go grocery shopping. The boys are camping in Gaylord with Tim and they leave in the morning. Kelsey and I still haven't decided what we are going to do this weekend. Maybe a trip to Wisconsin? Posted by Picasa
