Nice weekend -- we sure can feel "fall" in the air. Today I didn't really feel that good. Tickly throat, headachey, sinus pressure, etc. Anyway, this afternoon after the kids got done messing the house (blocks, art projects -- Kelsey...ummm...everything), I suggested a hike. Yah...they were all for that. Well, after a bit of yelling (ok, maybe more than a bit) to get everyone to help with cleaning up before we left, we head for the van. As I was pulling out of the driveway, I said in a low voice that my throat was kinda sore. Robert said, "probably from hollering so much." So, that did indeed, hit home. Gotta try harder to not yell/raise my voice so much. Really doesn't help that much anyway, and I hate the way it makes my kids feel. So, this mommy is going to try very hard not to "holler" so much.

Kelsey being very happy to run around and be free and singing "Walking on Sunshine...and don't it feel good!"

Ryan playing it up for the camera -- he wanted to see if I could get a shot of him mid air...got it!

Robert is usually at least 100 yards ahead of us all (usually with one or both dogs). Tried to get a photo of all three actually looking at the camera...forget it. Didn't matter, we had a great time. Stopped to pick up Subway sandwiches, followed up with warm showers, bedtime stories...no hollering...peace everyone. And, dear daddy/husband Tim...get home soon.
