Last weekend I bought Kelsey a Halloween Costume that I haven't even showed her yet. You'll know why when I explain about these shoes. I also bought her a pair of "play" dress up shoes (they are plastic!) She doesn't want to take them off, she insists on wearing them to the store, outside to play, to the YMCA, etc. I appreciate her enjoying her gift, but geesh. Actually, as I type this, I do realize how dang cute it is. I remember Robert and Ryan wanting to wear their costumes when they were little...Tigger, Batman & Buzz Lightyear. Gotta soak up those moments...because now that I think back, they were moments...and oh so sweet. Anyway, I am still going to wait and present Kelsey her costume at least a few days before Halloween.
I can't believe it's officially fall. It feels like it, looks like it, and smells like it. It is one of our favorite seasons. Last week Kels and I went downtown to the Farmer's Market and bought a peck of "honey crisp" apples. YUUUMMM! If you haven't gotten any this season, go out and scoop some up. They have a short growing season and I've read they are the Louis Vutton of apples. I believe it. They are so worth the extra money.....DEEEEElicious.
We've been so busy. Trying each day to stop and record my gratitude. Have a great Tuesday.
