Sunny...

for our first day of skiing. It was a beautiful day and it was good to get out and get some fresh air. I stayed on the bunny hill with Kelsey and Tim took the boys up the chair lift for a few runs. Robert doesn't feel confident enough yet to do some of the bigger hills, so he came and joined Kelsey and I. Kelsey got used to wearing ski boots and skis. She did and then she didn't want to go up the hill. She wanted to go up without her skis. When we told her she needed her skis on to go up the hill...well, then she got mad and then she got thirsty, then she got happy again, then she got mad, then she got thirsty, then she was happy, then she was mad...so that was Kelsey's first experience. Tried to keep it positive so she'll be a little more ready next time. Robert was so excited and wanted to show her how to come down the hill, but she just wasn't quite sure yet. It's so nice we have a family pass this year, because we can just go out when we want to and not feel like we need to stay long in order to get our moneys worth. Tim and Robert were out yesterday and it was cold and they were making snow like crazy. One or two of the hills were not open yet and I think with our mild temps today they lost some snow. So, we'll be hoping Old Man Winter blows more snow our way!

Gotta go and get started on making rueben sandwiches for dinner. Hope everyone had a nice weekend.
We had a little cookie decorating party yesterday. I'm done making cookies for awhile. It was fun though and I'll try and post pictures tomorrow.
