Happy First Day of Spring!

I just felt the need to buy some flowers today. We still have snow on the ground, and I am pretty sure it'll be awhile before I see my first spring flower outside.

It's a gloomy Wednesday--no sunshine, still cold, muddy-dirty looking... I didn't get much of what I wanted done around the house.

You know, sometimes you just have to "lift" yourself up by acknowledging what brings you a little happiness. And, today my happiness is:

-my fresh Gerber daisies in my kitchen window

-Kelsey getting her hair shampooed, cut and styled at the beauty shop

-buying a big loaf of french bread and planning to make french toast and turkey bacon for the kids tomorrow morning

-a decent cardio workout at the gym

-Robert not fussing about doing his homework
