This girl of mine...

(giving me one of her famous "Mommy Hugs" at the waterpark)

this afternoon Kelsey and I were leaving the driveway headed to the bank and store before picking up the boys at school. This is a little of the conversation.

Kels: Mommy, look at the moon!

Me: Yes Kelsey, that's real cool.

Kels: No, it's not cool Mommy...it's beeautiful.

Me: Oh, excuse me...yes, it is beautiful Kelsey.

Kels: Yes, it's beautiful like orchids.

Me: Yes, it is beautiful like orchids...where did you see orchids?

Kels: In Mackinac City.

Then she sees the tip of St. Peter's Cathedral as we were moving onto Washington Street.

Kels: Mom, I see a castle!

Me: No, actually, Kelsey that is a big church....St. Peter's Cathedral...it is a beautiful church....Mommy and Daddy got married in that church.

Kels: Ooooooohhhh...that's nice, Mommy. When I get big, I'm gonna get married in that castle.

Me: You are? Who are you gonna marry?

Kels: Daddy.

So, that was just a little tid bit of my car conversation with Kelsey. There are so many, and I enjoy them so much. I don't want to forget these little conversations...they are so sweet. She isn't one to EVER be short for conversation. I am amazed at how well she articulates for her age. I have a sneaky suspicion they won't be as fun/cute when she is say...twelve or sixteen?
