Glory to God...

Robert celebrated his First Communion and Confirmation on Sunday. It was a beautiful day. Robert has been working hard preparing for this day and Sunday morning he woke up and said he didn't feel very well. He laid in bed with us and soon got up quickly to run to the bathroom to throw up. I thought it was just nerves. He didn't eat any breakfast and after he got dressed up and was ready to walk out the door he threw up again. Thank goodness he didn't get any on his clothes. He was white as a ghost and Tim thought for sure he was going to pass out walking to the church, but he made it just fine through the long ceremony. Our family brought up the gifts...and I, indeed, felt God's light shining down on us.

We are so proud of Robert and know he will continue to grow in his faith and walk with the Lord through this life journey. As all children are, he is a precious gift from God. I believe, he's always been a little bit spiritual. I remember when Tim and I would get frustrated or upset with some of the things he did as a weeee very active little guy about 3 or 4 years old. When we would scold him or ask him why he did something...he would reply to us..."I can't help it, that's the way God made me!"

Grandma Glover, Uncle Bob, Uncle Greg J., Lew, Kathy, and Ann helped to make it a special time for us. Unfortunately, I didn't get many pictures at all because I was waiting until after the ceremony and Robert wanted to get right home and lay on the couch (which he did all afternoon and ran a low grade fever). He's feeling much better now.

Have a great week.

"Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to Me.

Don't stop them, because the kingdom of heaven

belongs to people who are like these children.'"
