It is cold and dark outside today and it's misting. That sounds funny to say, "it's misting." But, that is indeed what it's doing outside. Kelsey and I are watching Mary Poppins (with popcorn) and I tried to take a little nap. I think I fell asleep for about five whole minutes.
I can't think of anything to blog about, so I went and fished a
few pictures from my recent files.
This is a shot of Robert last week eating cereal out on our back patio. It was lunch time and we were having something that he didn't care for. So, as usual, he had a bowl of cereal. This kid loves cold cereal. He could probably eat a whole box in a day! He's been known to eat three bowls before school. Good thing I only buy the healthy kind -- Kelloggs Special "K", Multi-grain Cheerios, Rice Krispies, Bran Flakes (one of his favorites!) And, if we have some fresh strawberries or blueberries, he'll take a bunch of those on top!
You can't really tell by this photo, but he's also sporting his first sunburn of the summer. The back of his neck really got it when he was planting at the community garden. He's sooooo fair, he now carries a bottle of that continuous spray sunscreen in his backpack so that he can put it on at recess and whenever his Mom can't be there.
Marion & Nora gazing at their new baby sister, Stella Marie! Love this photo...melts my heart..and look at those little piggies!!
Ok, so this doesn't melt my heart...and I did say Random Monday. This shot is of Tim mowing the front yard last week. You know what they say..."Safety First." I think I was in a particularly bad mood (it happens!) and he was trying to make me laugh. It worked.
Cinderella and Ryan eating a Popsicle in the back yard. Mason thinking he might get lucky and snag some.
That's it. Have a great Random or shall I say, magic Monday.
These are the magic years...
and therefore magic days...
and therefore magic moments.
