Yup, that's me today. Starting to get a head cold and I hope it doesn't end up as a sinus headache/infection. Feeling "dumpy," "frumpy," and "grumpy." Not much more to say. I'll give myself a day or so, and then I better snap out of it. I'm sure Tim is thinking the same.
Found this recipe while flipping through the Everyday With Rachael Ray Magazine at the store. Everything in the magazine is on her sight pretty much, so I came home and printed out the recipe. Plan to make them with the kids some day soon.
Last night Ryan, Kelsey and I (Robert was out shooting his bow with Tim) were looking at Halloween costumes online. These were a few we picked out -- one for Robert, one for Ryan, and one for Kelsey. We love Halloween. Although, Kelsey is really spooked and squeamish about some of the scary things she sees in the stores (mummies, witches, vampires, etc.) Last year when we went to some dorms on campus trick-or-treating, some of the college kids really got into the spooky stuff, and I think she's still a little traumatized. This year we will steer clear of the spooky stuff. I saw the cutest homemade Dorothy costume at the Fall Craft Show, I wish I would of picked it up. It seemed a little expensive, but now that I look online and in the stores, it really wasn't bad. I tried to talk Kelsey into this, but she wanted the cat or princess. I remember when I was in about 2nd grade or so and my brother and sister dressed me up as a geisha girl and I won top prize at our school. I need to find a picture...I loved it. Our costumes (me & my two closest brothers) were always whipped up by my older siblings with a little help from mom & dad. We had no store bought costumes. Just plain 'ole originality and creativity! Maybe I need to get me some of that today...yah, that and a sewing machine!
