Right after church on Sunday the kids carved their pumpkins. Kelsey was right in there spooning out the insides (guts) and truly enjoying the process. After we got home from two Halloween parties that day, Ryan wanted to paint his pumpkin a little. He wanted to add a bandanna and an eye patch. I said, no problem. Although, I just threw a bunch of paint away last week, and only had a handful of colors. So Ryan had to settle for a white glow-in-the-dark paint for the patch and it turned out very cool. Kelsey really wanted to do some painting on her pumpkin, too, (never to be left out of ANY activity!) so I said she could. She worked on this pumpkin for over an HOUR. She painted every inch of it with a metallic pink and a bright red color. She even painted the stem!
