Almost Four Years Old...

Today is Kelsey's last day of being three years old. It seems like only yesterday we brought her home from the hospital. We would sit and watch her in wonder. Smelled all her babyness (love that smell!) and snuggled her for hours at a time. We were in baby wonderland. After all, it had been three years since we had a baby in the house (Ryan was three and potty trained) and the added fact that she was always in pink....ahhhh......I'll never forget how much I wanted to soak in every detail of her infancy. We knew #3 baby would be the finale for our little family. I also knew how fast that babyness flew by. We felt so blessed.

Today, I feel even more blessed...even when she is being sassy or a little bit naughty.

She is spirited, colorful, fun, and has brought so much joy and love to our family.

Favorite Things at Three Years Old:

Color -- Pink & Purple

Food -- Strawberries, pizza & ice cream

Book -- Fancy Nancy & Eloise

Play -- Dress-up and her dolls

Crafts -- Painting, coloring & play doh

Loves looking at her baby book.
Loves playing with her brothers and sometimes irritating the heck out of them.
Loves to dance and sometimes sing, too.


Tonight Tim and the kids are watching Season One of Little House on the Prairie (remember that series?)

I've been sick the past two days. I feel better this afternoon. Tonight I need to finish up a little wrapping, bake cookies and cupcakes, etc. At least we can all sleep in tomorrow.
