Another Weekend...

These photo's were taken last week. Now, we have snow on the ground. Just a little and it's much colder, too.

The boys had a friend over Friday after school and he spent the night. Then yesterday, both of them stayed overnight at different friends houses. That left Kelsey and me. We went to the mall and went to Bath & Body Works. That is where Kelsey sampled and tried on each and every lip gloss they had. She loves the shiny, sparkly, yummy smelling stuff! She thinks using those little white sticks to sample them is the most fun. The girls that work there get a big kick out of her because she's very enthusiastic and happy about the experience. We had so much fun and didn't even end up buying anything. I think I know what Kelsey is going to get in her Christmas stocking this year, however! We went on to check out Sayklly's and she was ecstatic that I said "yes" to picking out some jelly belly jelly beans. We stopped and had a little dinner and then came home. My uncle Maurice called and we hopped back into the car to visit him at the Jacobetti Veteran's Home. We had a nice visit with uncle Maurice and his brother, Kenneth. Seeing my uncle again (he lives in Adams, Wisconsin) brought back fond memories of my Aunt Clara and the rest of their family. Growing up, I remember them coming to visit at quite a few Thanksgiving holidays.

When we got back home, Kelsey put her jelly bellies in a big plastic container and carried them around like she had the biggest prize. We made some caramel popcorn and settled on the couch to watch a movie. I also gave her a pedicure and manicure. She was happy, happy, happy to have me all to herself for the night. God, I love her so much...she's so much fun!

For any of you wondering, I will try and give Robert & Ryan some equal time on this blog soon. It's just that they are at school all day, then have after school activities, and then they are so on the go with their friends lately. Kelsey is stuck with me. And, of course, she's usually a pretty willing subject for my photography practice.
Savor the moment.

and you will find a great deal of it
in unexpected places.

The goofy collage of Kelsey is awesome, you've captured her beautifully.
