Saturday...

Saturday morning the boys walked to a nearby garage sale and bought several Star War toy sets. They were thrilled and even bought me a pair of earrings, Kelsey a necklace, and Tim a Star Wars Return of the Jedi VHS tape.
Tim and I finished up some cleaning at the rental this morning. Lot's of work....but we made a lot of progress and know the new tenants will like what we did.

Here at home we have many projects going. Right now I'm trying to decide what color to paint my kitchen cupboards. We have many, many cupboards and the cupboard color in our kitchen will be quite prominent. Even though I'm tempted to go with painting them all blue...I think I'm going to play it safe and paint them a creamy white. We are switching the hardware to brushed nickel. I'll post a photo when the project is finished. Blue and green are definitely my favorite colors....love the turquoise and the robin egg blue colors. My 'ole vintage kitchen is getting a face life!

-Ryan at his soccer game last week. He is playing great and so excited for the season.
-Ryan and Robert both had their spring strings (violin) performances last week.
-They both had their final violin lessons for the school year. Their violin teacher, Mrs. Moilanen, always keeps it fun for the kids and they always play games and have lot's of treats on the last day.
-Robert's class went to Fayette State Park and he had an awesome time. I made cookies for him to share and he said that everyone liked them and that they were gone in seconds!
-Next week the boys have end of the school year activity days. Kelsey and I will be spending a good deal of time at each school on Thursday and Friday.
-I have to begin thinking about summer activities and how I want to begin the season of summer with the kids.
-I am hoping for warmer weather in June and lot's of sunshine.

-The boys are helping me in shredding some old check duplicates and other papers (they love that machine!)
-Tim went to our community garden plot to get it ready for planting of tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, etc.
-I'm going to begin planting my pots and getting the back rock gardens in shape for a few annuals.
~A great deal of busyness & craziness and an abundance of gratefulness.~
