Baby, it's cold outside. The kids were off of school today. We had wind chill readings around 25 below this morning.
The kids had a uneventful day playing inside and one trip to the YMCA to play in the game room and the gym.
Kelsey heard that her cousins in G.R. (Marion, Nora & Stella) were having an inside beach party in the bathroom, so that is exactly what Kelsey wanted to do today. I filled up the bathtub and she wore her bathing suit. I went downstairs and brought up a beach towel and placed it on the floor. She wanted music (High School Musical-Fabulous) and something to drink. I brought her up a colored plastic cup that had a top and a straw. She asked me what was in it and I told her, "fresh water." She asked if she could have a little apple juice in it too. I obliged with a splash. What a day.

oh the joys of youth... what I wouldn't give to have a cup of water with a splash of juice take my blahs away! (i guess adulthood means bath time drinks get to be stronger :-)) Love you guys!

Kelsey, did you remember the sunscreen?
It won't be long and it will be for real.
I want to come and hang out with you on a Lake Superior Beach.
