for the past several months, we've had an NMU student, Michelle, become our babysitter. She watched Kelsey on Fridays when I helped out at the boys school. She was also available when I needed a break or had a doctor appointment. She was awesome with the kids and we will all miss her over the summer (she is going back to her hometown, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.) Especially me! Michelle was a freshman at NMU and has quite a background in caring for little ones. She came with great references and the kids liked her right away. She was so good at getting right down with them on their level and playing games, coloring, reading, etc. A very caring and loving person. I always felt "at ease" when I left the kiddo's in her care.
A very special person...we are thankful. Can't wait until the fall and she returns to Marquette.
