very cold here {can you say Z-E-R-O} but we haven't gotten any new snow. Although, I think everyone around us is getting it...including Grand Rapids. Haven't looked at the weather channel yet, so we may yet get our fair share. I stayed in my warm bed this morning and read. Tim brought me up a big mug of coffee and then later Ryan fetched me a refill! Yes..Happy Saturday morning. Photo's above are the kids eating breakfast (again) and watching cartoons.
Tim and I went out last night (date night) and we laughed so hard. Met up with some of the "Friday Happy Hour Crew" at the Shamrock and I tell ya, these guys were on a roll. All that were there last night in our group (except for Tim) are from dinky little U.P. towns and the stories they were throwing around were hilarious! Even a few NMU stories. Being a U.P. gal, and a dinky little town native, I could relate and only try not to pee my pants laughing {Blue Moon beer tastes so good when it's zero degrees outside!} Tim and I then moved on to our favorite Italian restaurant for a late dinner. Got home and the kids were all snuggled and sleeping in their beds. Our babysitter, Michelle, gave us a report of good manners and behaviors from the kiddos. Yes. Happy.
Gonna get some work done today around the house. Tim and the kids are at the YMCA right now and my goal is to get there today before closing time. The sun is shining. Happy.
