Fond Memories...Laugh...Punk Kid...Good Morning!

This is a picture of Arrow. He belonged to my Mom, Dad and little brother Greg. Arrow has now gone to "doggy heaven" and probably chasing rabbits and looking for a canoe to catch a ride. We got Arrow as a puppy and gave him as a present to my Dad back in 1993. He was a very special silver beagle and was loved very much. I have some great memories of that dog and how happy he made my parents. I remember after my Dad died and how Mom used to tell me how depressed Arrow was and how he really missed him. My Mom took over the task of taking Arrow for car rides around the block, and going to fetch him when he went missing down at the local canoe rental/campground business. My brother, Greg and my sister, Susan, also took great care of Arrow during my Mom's illness and following her death. Arrow was one of the final links to my parents...and it was a very sad day when I heard the news. On the other hand, Tim and I were talking and Arrow sure lived a great dog's life. He was somewhat famous, by many accounts, and lived a life of adventure. Some day I may post about it. In the meantime...sniff...sniff...I'll miss seeing that 'ole gray beagle.

A few pictures I snapped last night of Kelsey at dance class. As you can see, she acts sometimes like she would like to lead the class. She kept telling Miss Jessica (the instructor) to turn the music on. She doesn't mind Miss Jessica explaining various dance moves, but really prefers to have music on at all times. That girl...I post it merely because it makes me laugh. {click on collage to get full effect}

Ryan went with me to Kelsey's dance class. This is the "look" I get when I aimed my camera at him. He looks like a punk with that hat on. He's been wearing it all the time (not in class at school.) He needs a haircut badly.
And, speaking of the above mentioned punk kid named Ryan...this is a mug he painted at our local "paint your own pottery" studio and I'm sipping a delicious cup of coffee out of it this morning. I'm enjoying a morning "in" and I'm going to go and snuggle up with Kelsey on the couch with a blanket and watch Dragon Tales! (She keeps hollering for me to do so.)
Have a great Friday.

Kelsey looks like she is saying "whaaat do you want?"

Ryan looks like he's saying, "don't point that at me!"
