Do Rags...

Yes, the kiddo's are sporting their new do rags.
Robert has been bugging me to buy him a bandana now for a couple of months. He thinks
they are way
cool. And, of
course, if he thinks they are way cool, so do Ryan and Kelsey. We found these bandanas in the $1 bins at Target. The very last red, white and blue ones...Robert was so excited! He picked out the flowered red one for Kels. As soon as we got in the van, they insisted I tie them up for them and when we pulled into the driveway, they asked if they could go around the block. They walked around the block (no bikes!) sporting their new "look" and were so proud, cute, whatever. Made me laugh. Earlier in the day we took our watercolors and sketch pads and headed to the beach to paint. We met up with some friends and the kids painted, played and ate snacks. The moms got to visit.
I got a couple of cute photos I'll post soon. It is currently 10:44 a.m. and Kelsey is still sleeping. All this summer activity is wearing her down.
The boys are outside decorating their bikes for the 4th of July bike rodeo competition. It's early, but they don't care, they are feverishly cleaning their bikes and sticking red, white and blue stuff wherever they can.
Tonight both boys have soccer (Robert game/Ryan practice) and Tim has a volleyball game. Yes, that's right, he's on a beach volleyball team for Rotary. I GOTTA get out to see this. He's been either out of town or busy with the boys, so he's only been able to attend practice once, but they have been pleading with him to come out and play when he can...so tonight he will. I'll take Robert and Kelsey out after Robert's game (he'll already have Ryan with him) and we'll check it out. I'll try and remember my camera. This I've got to see! Happy TUUUUUUUesday!
