Your blogg is very familiar, I like that. A very simple and beatitul example of a great family. a very nice new year for yuo all!!!
Laura- Thank you for sharing the photos of your Mom. She was obviously someone very special. We're thinking of you lots!
P.S. It's pretty amazing that someone from across the world-Portugal-can be inspired by your blog. That says a lot about what an incredible person you are!
Laura - I just heard about your mom and I am so sorry. I had the chance to meet her only once, at your wedding. I love the pictures that you have on the blog. Jose and I are thinking of you guys. Love, Cara
Thanks, Laura for this web site. I realized even more when I came out for you mothers funeral how important family is. It has been great connecting with my UP relatives again. The best memories of my youth were coming up to Germfask in the 50's and 60's to visit my cousins. You being the 2nd from the youngest I didn't know you very well. It has been a joy getting to know you and your family the last few times I've been to the UP. I will deeply miss your mother as she was the one that I looked to after my mother passed away. She was so positive and encouraging when I talked to her when I was in the hospital the summer of 2000 and 2001. Her words of encouragement helped me to have a positive outlook and helped me in my recovery.
I am a wife and mother to three kiddos and one furry one. I am a mostly stay-at-home Mommy at this time.
I love all sorts of projects and recreation with my kids. I enjoy reading, photography, scrapbooking and gardening.
I try and look at things in a positive light and am blessed with a husband who shares in my faith.

It would be wonderful if they came to us unsummoned, but particularly in lives as busy as the ones most of us lead now, that won't happen. We have to teach ourselves how to live, really live...to love the journey, not the destination."
