Black Friday...

I worked this morning and right after my shift (3.5 hours) I headed for Target. No great fantastic deals or anything, but nice to get out without kids in tow. Then off to the Hallmark store. I had a couple of coupons to use and again it was great to browse the store without Kelsey touching and grabbing everything in sight.
Yesterday we had a very casual and relaxing Thanksgiving. Nice. The kids and I wore our pajamas all day. The boys slept downstairs in front of the fireplace in their sleeping bags Thanksgiving eve. When I left for bed, they had flashlights and books and were all snuggly for their little campout. We had a nice breakfast of eggnog french toast & juice. Around noon, the kids painted little pumpkins. The rest of the morning I worked on cooking dinner at a leisurely rate. Tim was in charge of the turkey and it was delicious--moist and juicy. Ryan, Kelsey and I made a pumpkin pie. We had a fire in the fireplace all day, watched football, watched movies, read, and enjoyed a nice {thankful} day.

After our dinner prayer, we all said what we were thankful for. Kelsey said she was "thankful for everybody and loves everyone." Amen.
